In a crucial meeting held at the DC office, Attock, Deputy Commissioner Rao Atif Raza spearheaded discussions on the ongoing anti-dengue campaign, emphasizing the need for enhanced monitoring and collective efforts. The meeting was attended by key officials, including ADCG Adnan Anjum Raja, CEO Health Dr. Isdas Ismail, and MS Government Esfandiar Bukhari Hospital Dr. Jawadalhi, among others.
During the meeting, the officials provided updates on the progress of the anti-dengue campaign, outlining strategies and initiatives. Deputy Commissioner Attock, while addressing the gathering, issued instructions for all institutions to actively participate in the fight against dengue. He stressed the crucial role that district and tehsil administrations, government institutions, and especially the health department, play in the complete eradication of the disease.
In a bid to ensure accountability, DC Attock highlighted that third-party monitoring is underway to assess the performance of various departments. Detailed reports are being sent to higher authorities, contributing to a transparent evaluation process. The Deputy Commissioner directed all officers to strictly adhere to the code of conduct related to preventing fraud in government offices and urged them to raise awareness among the public.
As part of the campaign, residents of Attock district were urged to maintain cleanliness and dryness in their surroundings to safeguard against the threat of dengue.
