New School Timings in Lahore, Punjab for Ramadan 2024

LAHORE – Ramadan 2024 timings for all private and government schools have been announced by the Punjab’s education department on Monday.

A notification shared by Punjab School Education Department confirmed new timings for all educational institutions in the region.

For the single shift schools, the classes will start from 8:30am and end at 1pm on weekdays (Monday to Thursday). On Friday, the school timings will be from 8:30am – 12:30 pm.

Weekdays First Class Time Closing Time
Monday 8:30 am 1:00 pm
Tuesday 8:30 am 1:00 pm
Wednesday 8:30 am 1:00 pm
Thursday 8:30 am 1:00 pm
Friday 8:30 am 12:30 pm

For second-shift schools, classes will start at 1pm and will continue till 4pm.

Ramadan moon was been sighted in Pakistan on March 11 and and the first fast will be observed across the country tomorrow (Tuesday). Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the chairman of the moon sighting committee, made the official announcement after a meeting in Peshawar.
