Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan says development of airports is among the top priorities of the government to increase regional connectivity and to bring direct economic benefits to various areas of the country.
He said this after inaugurating new international terminal at Quetta Airport on Wednesday.
The Minister said reconstruction work at the existing runway at Quetta airport will be started soon to accommodate more aircraft at the facility.
Quetta airport currently handles five hundred thousand passengers annually.
Economic conditions through job creation, skill development and running of industry.
