Minister Local Govt & Chairman & Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KW&SB) Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has announced a compensation of Rs 2.5 million to the next of kin of Martyr Furqan Akhtar. The family members of Martyr Furqan Akhtar will also be given permanent government jobs.
According to details, Minster Local Govt & Chairman KW&SB Syed Nasir Hussain Shah announced a compensation of Rs 2.5 million from the Sindh Govt & KW&SB for the next of kin of Martyr Furqan Akhtar, the supervisor of KW&SB who was martyred in firing by unidentified persons near Hub Reservoir two days ago.
In a video statement issued along with CEO KW&SB Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed & COO KW&SB Engineer Asadullah Khan, he said that the family members of Shaheed Furqan Akhtar will also be given permanent government jobs, while the Minster Local Govt. assured full support and full cooperation from the Sindh government and KW&SB to the heirs of Shaheed Furqan Akhtar. He said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has ordered IG Sindh Police & CCPO Karachi to arrest the killers of Shaheed Furqan Akhtar immediately.
