ISLAMABAD – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has contacted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar to inform him that permission would not be granted for any protest, sit-in or rally.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi communicated with PTI Chairman Barrister Goher and discussed the current situation in light of the Islamabad High Court’s order.
Mohsin Naqvi informed Barrister Goher about the circumstances following the Islamabad High Court’s directive and stated, “We are bound by the Islamabad High Court’s orders. We cannot allow any procession, sit-in, or rally,”.
The Federal Interior Minister briefed Barrister Goher on the schedule and details of an 80-member high-level delegation led by the President of Belarus, covering activities from November 24 to 27.
He mentioned that the high-level Belarus delegation would arrive in Islamabad on November 24 while the President of Belarus would reach Pakistan on November 25.
He also stated that the Belarus delegation would remain in Islamabad until November 27.
During the conversation with the Federal Interior Minister, Barrister Goher stated that he would inform them of the final decision after consulting with the party regarding this matter.
