NADRA fee update for lost ID card in Pakistan [June 2024]

ISLAMABAD – National Identity Card (NIC) is issued by the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) to the citizens of Pakistan.

It is a blend of state-of-the-art technology and well-defined business rules to guarantee its authenticity and validity.

The ID card is the first requirement of individuals as it is mandatory to obtain documents like license, NTN, bank account, passport, cellular connection etc. Every citizen of Pakistan, 18 years and above, is eligible for the national identity card.

The document holds personal information including name, date of birth, and biometric data, making it crucial to use basic services.

Losing the CNIC can land you in various troubles. So, citizens are required to contact NADRA to get the ID card if they lose it.

Losing CNIC used to be a devastating experience back in the day, but NADRA now offers hassle free process for issuance of new ID card.

How to get New ID Card in case of lost?

First, you need to visit nearest NADRA facility

As per the last update, you do not need to submit any copy of the previous ID

NADRA receives Rs750 in normal category for issuance of smart national identity card, Rs1,500 in urgent category and Rs2,500 in executive category.
