The Lahore NAB office has summoned PML-N leader Khawaja Asif on October 8 in the accumulation of assets beyond known sources case. Khawaja Asif was summoned in connection with his Iqama in the United Arab Emirates.
Khawaja Asif had revealed during the interrogation that he had been Iqama holder in the UAE. Khawaja Asif had claimed to have served as a legal advisor in Messrs. International. Khawaja Asif earned Rs136 million from his job. NAB sought records from Khawaja Asif regarding payment of income and duties.
