National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday said Parliament is the only platform that promotes public friendly legislation. He said that Parliamentary forums like Women Parliamentary Caucus (WPC), Parliamentary Caucus on Child Rights (PCCR), Parliamentary Task Force on SDGs, YPF provide unparalleled assistance to parliamentarians for furthering the cause of effective legislation. He expressed these views while inaugurating Directorate of Parliamentary Forums at Parliament House Islamabad, today.
