ISLAMABAD – The National Assembly on Tuesday passed a bill against the corporal punishment, a victory for those working of children’s rights.
The bill was tabled by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker Mehnaz Akbar. The lower house of the parliament also approved an amendment proposed by the government in the bill.
