Punjab Inspector General of Police Inam Ghani has said that the mutual cooperation amongst govt departments is the need of the hour to resolve public problems without any delay and provide them speedy service delivery.
“The Punjab Police in measures taken for public convenience, service and protection is playing its effective role and any government department in the government wherever police cooperation is required will be ensured on priority basis”, IG Police Inam Ghani expressed the views while talking to probationary officers participating in the 44th Specialized Training Program of Pakistan Administrative Services.
The delegation from Civil Services Academy Lahore included 40 probationary officers including 14 women.
The IGP said that in case of any kind of administrative challenge, difficult or uncertain situation, the police and civil officers easily work together on the same page and therefore the officers should serve the citizens by maintaining best working relationship.
He further said that in order to solve the problems of the citizens and provide them justice, all the officers should always keep the doors of their offices open and make it their motto to solve the problems of the citizens by performing their duties with diligence, sincerity and dutifulness.
Additional IG Operations Sahibzada Shehzad Sultan while briefing the participants about the ongoing services of Punjab Police for modernization of services, specialized forces and further improvement in service delivery said that Punjab Police has been shifted from Crime Centric Force to Service Delivery Force on priority basis and steps are being taken in this regard for which all available resources are being utilized for operations as well as investigation upgradation and provision of facilities.
