Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has said that today the people of the province are expressing their unconditional love on the day celebrating the Sindh Culture without any discrimination, color, race, political, party and sectarian differences.
He expressed these views while addressing a programme on the occasion of Sindhi Culture Day at the Governor House. In the program, the participants were briefed in detail about Sindh’s civilization, culture, caps and other cultural items. Members of Sindh Assembly, city elders and senior officials were also present on the occasion. Leading folk artists entertained the audience with speeches by Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and other Sufis.
The Governor Sindh further said that we were born on Sindh soil and our graves will also be in the womb of this earth mother, we may have personal, political differences but on Sindh soil we are all one and will remain one this is our vision and our own.
He said that he is the son of Sindh and would use all his abilities for the development of the province so as to raise the standard of living of the people of the province as well as provide them all possible facilities. To go He said that from Karachi to Khyber, there is a huge crowd of people who love the land of Sindh. Everyone is expressing their love for their mother earth on their own platform, which is a welcome and proud spirit.
With the same vision, we have to do our part in changing the living standards of the inhabitants of this earth and providing them with all kinds of facilities. He said that we can never forget the passion with which the people of Sindh embraced those who came to the province at the time of establishment of Pakistan.
Every person living in Sindh today is a Sindhi, dream of breaking Sindh and spreading division among the people. It cannot be fulfilled. Sindh is one and will remain the same.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is also always concerned for the development and prosperity of Sindh land. It was the Prime Minister who gave a historic package for the largest city of the province as well as other packages for the development of other cities of the province. We will give so that the problems of the people of the province can be minimized and their standard of living can be changed, especially in the cities of Hyderabad and Sukkur.
