Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Imran Mazhar on Wednesday turned down the FIA request for physical remand of a model and sent her to jail on judicial remand.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) produced the model in the court of Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Imran Mazhar and told the court that she is accused of blackmailing a businessman.
“She had made a video with the businessman in an objectionable and compromising condition. Later, model attempted to blackmail the businessman into paying her Rs10 million otherwise she will make the video public,” the FIA informed the court.
The investigators said that she has so far extorted Rs500,000 from the man.
She was arrested after a case was registered by the FIA Cyber Crime Wing.
The FIA requested the court for physical remand of the model but the court turned down the request and sent the model to prison on judicial remand.
