Mobile milk testing lab inaugurated

Former Punjab Food Minister MPA Sami Ullah Chaudhry inaugurated Mobile Milk Testing Labs, which will help eradicate trend of sale of contaminated milk and provide quality milk to the common man.
The Punjab Food Authority has revamped the milk testing labs by adding modern lacto scan machine to the lab for better testing of milk. ADC Ahsan Ali Jamali, PFA DD (Operations) Hafiz Adnan and AD Licensing Adnan Sharif were also present at the inauguration. On the occasion, PFA Dairy Safety Teams exhibited quick testing of milk. The MPA termed the lab a welcoming step for people of Bahawalpur. PFA DG said that mobile milk testing facility will be deployed at all entry and exit points of the city under the supervision of Dairy Safety Teams. He said that the facility will also be available in Khairpur Tamawali, Yazman, Ahmedpur East and Hasilpur. He said that people can get the facility without any charges.
