The Punjab Minister for Special Education Ch Muhammad Ikhlaq on Saturday has said that up gradation of different education institutions in the public sector was among his top most priorities. While addressing a ceremony of launching a new study program in Government Jinnah Islamia College, the provincial minister further added that the up gradation of education institutions would help bright students from the middle classes of the society to get higher education with lower expenses. He opined also that it was quite impossible for any society to achieve the mile stones of progress and prosperity without acquiring education. He urged upon the students to work hard and avoid short-cuts in order to achieve success in any field as they were the future leaders of the country and nation. The principal Prof Mujahid Hussain Bukhari and other staff and a number students were also present in the ceremony. Earlier, the Punjab Minister planted a sapling in the lawns of the college.
