Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation Arshad Ayub Khan has issued directive for holding review meetings twice in a month on priority projects, say-ing that the PTI provincial government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan was prioritizing public welfare projects.

The practical steps were being taken for the devel-opment of agriculture following the party manifesto, Arshad Ayub said and added that work was in full swing on the construction of small dams and water channels to supply abundant water to the agriculture sector, which is related to the development of agri-culture and the people.

He said that timely completion of these projects will benefit the people in a better way while food secu-rity was also associated with it. With the building of small dams, agriculture could be further developed by storing water, while cultivating maximum area could play a key role in bringing about a green revo-lution in a short span of time.
