A two-member delegation will attend the 17th Meeting of the Security Council Secretaries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Member States on 18th and 19th of this month in Tashkent.
According to detail, a two member delegation led by Engr. Aamir Hasan, Federal Secretary, National Security Division (NSD) who is also the Secretary of National Security Committee (NSC) and Syed Ahmed Maroof, Joint Secretary, NSD will be attending the 17th meeting of the Security Council Secretaries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Member States from 18-19 August, 2022 in Tashkent.
During the event, it is planned to discuss issues related on maintaining regional and global stability, countering modern challenges and threats to the security, as well as exchange views on the current and future prospects of cooperation within the SCO. SCO is an important regional forum comprising Pakistan, India, Russian Federation, People’s Republic of China, Republic of Uzbekistan, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and Republic of Tajikistan.
