Says PTI going to materialize dream of ‘Kashmir Banay Ga Pakistan’

Amraiz Khan

Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said that the overwhelming support extended to PTI in its public meetings by the Kashmiri voters is a clear manifestation of their full support to PTI in the upcoming AJK elections.

Talking to the media at DGPR Office here on Friday, Dr Firdous said the Kashmiris very well know that PM Imran Khan is a vocal supporter of their cause and he has always raised a strong voice for the rights of Kashmiris at every forum.

She said the PM has given a roadmap of the Pakistani’s priorities and the AJK legislative assembly will be an important part of the Pakistan-centric vision of PM Imran Khan.

The SACM said the PTI is going to win 12 AJK seats in Pakistan and 33 in Azad Kashmir to materialize the dream of ‘Kashmir will become Pakistan’.

The PM will materialize the dream of a strong Pakistan as dreamed by the founding fathers, she said.

Dr Firdous regretted that Maryam Safdar’s whole political campaign revolved around a Modi-centric narrative to extend political support to her familiy’s political master.

The reality is that the PML-N has nothing to offer to the voters after a five year-long stay in power.

It is constantly criticizing PM Imran Khan and security agencies to pressurize and undermine Pakistan’s just stance over the core issue of Kashmir, she said.

The SACM said Maryam Safdar resembles Shakespearean ‘Peter Pan’ who backstabbed Kashmiris by terming AJK as occupied Kashmir to please her Indian masters.

Regrettably, the opposition is making fun of state institutions while the oppressed Kashmiris are writing stories of their freedom struggle with their priceless blood and toil, she said.

Dr Firdous said the government will hold free and fair elections but the Election Commission AJK is acting as a pawn in the hands of AJK PM.

She said the opposition is trying to justify its expected defeat while AJK PM is spending public money and resources in the election campaign of PML-N. The irony is that the PTI has never come into power in AJK but opposition parties are criticizing it.

On the other side, the so-called PML-N leader has never condemned Modi or criticized Indian brutality against the oppressed Kashmiris.

Kashmir belongs to Pakistan and those hatching conspiracies against the Kashmiris will face defeat, she said.

The SACM said that the Provincial Disaster Management Authority is fully active and is monitoring every district to deal with the monsoon rain spell.

She said that CM Usman Buzdar will not require long shoes for showing political jugglery in rainy season.

The CM is introducing the best technology and institutional management to deal with the rainy season every year.

Responding to a question, Dr Firdous said that the allegations levelled by Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) is very astounding as its candidate should be in the control of the party.

It is routine that the candidates withdraw their candidatures in elections. The JI should think that why its candidate has done so.

Sirajul Haq should approach the Election Commission if he has some proof. It seems that he is levelling allegations to justify the party’s humiliation after the withdrawal of the candidate, she said.
