Malik Riaz, a prominent businessman and philanthropist, has denied any connection with Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaqat Ali Chattha and said he never contacted him.
According to a private TV channel, Bahria Town’s owner Malik Riaz expressed his regret that whenever there is a crisis in Pakistan, everyone starts pointing fingers at him or his organization without any evidence, logic or proof.
The property tycoon said he never met or communicated with Liaquat Chattha, who confessed before the media about his deep involvement in the mega election rigging on Saturday.
Malik Riaz said he has also not any social or business relationship with Commissioner Rawalpindi and is ready to cooperate in any investigation in this regard.
He said he prays for stability and prosperity in Pakistan like every patriotic Pakistani.
