The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) claimed to have foiled a major international drug smuggling attempt and recovered over 2.5 tons of drugs,

According to media reports on Saturday, the ANF conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Basohli area of Turbat, Balochistan, and seized the drugs from a house. The drugs included 2,080 kilograms of hashish, 290 kilograms of heroin, and 195 kilograms of ice. The drugs were packed in Afghan-language labels, indicating that they were meant to be smuggled to a foreign country through the sea route. The ANF has launched an investigation into the matter.

The ANF’s success in foiling this major drug smuggling attempt is a significant blow to the narcotics trade. It also reflects the ANF’s commitment to combating drug trafficking and protecting the country from the harmful effects of drugs.
