Majid, Nasir Memorial Basketball begins today

Top teams are taking part in the All-Pakistan Muhammad Majid and Abdul Nasir Memorial Basketball Tournament starting from tomorrow Tuesday under the umbrella of Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF) at the SiddiqueMemon Sports Complex Karachi.

According to Associate Secretary of Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF) and Tournament Director Muhammad YaqoobQadry, the teams of Pakistan Air Force,

WAPDA, Police, Rangers, Islamabad, Sindh Green, Balochistan and Sindh White will compete in the six-day event will be concluded on June 02.

He said that Mayor Karachi MurtazaWahabSiddiqui will inaugurate the event while Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori will be the chief guest of the closing ceremony of the tournament who will distribute prizes among the players. YaqoobQadry said that four matches will be played daily in the memorial tournament, the semi-finals will be held on June 01, while the final will be played on June 02.—INP
