Lahore Waste Management Company is a Government owned company, formed for providing Integrated Solid Waste Management facilities within Lahore. LWMC has taken up the responsibilities to perform solid waste management functions itself rather than giving extension to the Turkish Contractors.
LWMC is working tirelessly to provide best possible cleanliness services to the citizens of Lahore whereas an unknown mafia is trying to defame particularly the Government and specifically the LWMC.CEO LWMC has written letter to Punjab Safe City Authority requesting them to provide assistance against stealing and damaging of waste containers of LWMC. From the couple of days waste containers and bins of LWMC are being misplaced from designated places and are also being stolen. This issue is causing halt in smooth cleanliness operations of the department and also damaging the aesthetic look of Lahore City.
