The management of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro Saturday conducted pre-entry test for for admissions in different Degree and Diploma Programmes at its International Medical and Technical College Thatta. According to a university spokesman, a total of 1522 candidates including 1139 male and 389 female from all over Sindh have appeared in the test for admission in 400 seats reserved for Degree Programmes and 40 reserved seats of Diploma Courses.
The LUMHS management offered many degree programmes including Doctor in Physiotherapy, BS Nursing, BS Radiologic Technoloy, BS Medical Laboratory Technology, BS Forensic Science in Forensic Biology and BS Molecular Biology and Genetics while the Diploma Programmes included Diploma in Opthalmic Technician, Diploma in Dental Technician, Diploma in CT Technology, Diploma in MRI Texhnology and Diploma in Blood Banking and Transfusion.
The Vice Chancellor LUMHS Prof. Dr. Ikram Din Ujjan personally monitored the arrangements of the test, in order to ensure proper conduct under strict vigilance. The Vice Chancellor said that initiating the process of admissions in various courses at Thatta.
