LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Friday sealed more than 10 buildings in Gulshan-e-Ravi, Lahore for not paying commercialization fees.
The sealed premises include milk shop, estate office, dental clinic, pharmacy, battery shop, tea stall and general store. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
Director Town Planning-I Ayesha Mutahir supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of enforcement teams and Police. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
