LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday demolished five illegal buildings in Lahore. The LDA teams also sealed two premises for violation of building bylaws.
The LDA teams carried out operation in Quaid-e-Azam Town and adjoining localities. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali supervised the operation which was carried out by enforcement teams with the help of heavy machinery and Police. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
