The caretaker government has decided to keep prices of petrol and diesel unchanged, in contrast to reports of relief for the distressed masses.
In a recent announcement, the government said prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) would remain unchanged for the first half of November.
The government of Pakistan has decided to maintain the current prices of petrol and diesel during the next fortnight, the notification said, and it added that the prices of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) and kerosene oil were slashed by Rs3.40 and Rs3.82 per litre respectively.
