Lahore Arts Council (LAC) in collaboration with “The Little and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Pakistan” has organized “Equally Loud Showcase and Awards for 25 under 25 Young Women” at Alhamra Art Gallery, the Mall here on Friday.
The event was aimed at honoring participants and stakeholders of the project and showcase films made by children and young people. A panelist’s dialogue was also part of the event.
Under the Equally Loud project, The Little Art trained 740 children, 65 teachers, and 275 youth who produced 156 films were showcased nationally and internationally. It event also recognized 25 young women from across Pakistan for the 25 Under 25 Award to honor exceptional work being done by them in their communities.
On the occasion, Executive Director Lahore Arts Council, Saman Rai said that the event aims to raise awareness for the children’s and women’s issues and their basic rights. I would like to appreciate the hard work of all the children and young people who participated in this journey; we want to bring their hard work to the world.
Rai further said that Alhamra is a platform that promotes art and culture around the world because we believe that the young generation of Pakistan is rich in immense talents.
Alhamra is open at all times to art and artists, and talented people, our organization and our team are always ready to serve our people, she added.
