University of Karachi (KU) is proactively addressing the evolving needs of the corporate, industrial, and private sectors by forming an Industrial Advisory Board within most departments. This initiative aims to ensure that curriculum updates reflect market demands, preparing students for both current and future job markets. Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, Vice Chancellor of KU, articulated this vision during a conference in honor of World Pharmacist Day 2024, held at the Professor Salimuzzaman Siddiqui Auditorium of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences. The event, organized by the Karachi University Pharmacy Science Club, attracted renowned alumni, pharmaceutical companies, community hospitals, and other stakeholders.
