Khyber Sports club,KSA representatives organized a friendly match between senior cricket players of Landikotal subdivision, the other day at Hamza Baba sports ground.
The representative of KSC told the media that keeping in view the importance of old players for sports in Landikotal, they had organized a friendly match between Shinwari and Afridi tribe senior cricket players.
Shinwari veteran team defeated Afridi tribe senior players team. KSA representatives said.
President of KSA, Mairaj Uddin Shinwari, general secretary Kaleemullah Shinwari and Akhtar Rasool Shinwari, finance secretary told media that we believe that Landikotal senior players were the real heroes and peace ambassadors.
Admitting the services of senior players for sports and youth of the area, KSA encouraged the veteran players with honorary shields and trophies when match ended.
The KSA office bearers said that they were always busy to organize sports events and championships to engage the local youths in positive activities and keep them away from drugs and unhealthy activities.
