The annual tree plantation campaign was launched by KPT in December 2020 under which the tree planting campaign is to be continued in 4 seasons.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has ordered the planting of Tamer trees in Channa Creek and around Mai Kalachi Road and terminated the lease of housing societies of KPT officers. The order was passed.
Under this order, KPT has completed the work of clearing the date palms, Channa Creek, Hujrat Colony nullah which falls into Channa Creek, tree planting and canal Khayam. In addition, maintenance dredging has been initiated to enable full access to seawater for tamer cultivation.
