Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Education Akbar Ayub Khan Wednesday said provincial government was considering to establish 6 to 12 schools with all modern facilities in each Union Council (UC). Talking to a delegation of UK funded international organization DFID, he said the government has been proposed to make primary school across the province co-education and appoint female teachers there enabling maximum enrollment of children in schools without any hurdle. He told the delegation that as many as 65,000 teachers would be appointed in KP including merged district in next three years, adding that KP government in collaboration with international organizations would ensure provision of all facilities to schools across KP especially merged districts on emergency basis.—APP
