Kazakhstan looks forward to further strengthening relations with Pakistan: Envoy

Kazakhstan, an important Central Asian state is progressing by leaps and bounds and these achievements are the hard-earned fruits of the struggle the people of Kazakhstan carried out for the sake of independence and to have their own separate identity.
These views were expressed by Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kistafin at a reception organized by his embassy to mark the 30th anniversary of the National Day of Kazakhstan when three decades ago, the people of his country after collapse of the Soviet Union stood up for independence.
Kazakhstan, he said looked forward to further strengthening relations with Pakistan.
A tangible part of the reception was devoted to the exhibition of the art, craft and textile work by the young artists and craftswomen in collaboration with Rotary Club of Pakistan.
The ambassador said it was thought the reception would provide a suitable forum to these amazing artists to showcase their work. This is essential part of our activities and a social responsibility.
He said the people and the government of Kazakhstan always highly valued their relations with their Pakistani counterparts and the next year, 2022, being the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations established between the two countries would be celebrated as a memorable occasion.
Information Minister Fawad Hussain while congratulating Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin, his government and the countrymen on the national day, reciprocated his goodwill gesture by saying Pakistan and Kazakhstan were two friendly countries and needed to work closely at different forums to ensure peace and stability in the world especially within the region.
Besides, the Information Minister also presented Global Amba ssador Award of the “Best Young Diplomat” to a young Kazakhstan national Kempirbayeva Dilyara Galevna for her outstanding contributions towards promoting diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
