KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly cold and dry weather for Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh during the next two days.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected across Sindh including Karachi and Hyderabad on Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Fog/smog is likely to persist in Jacobabad, Mohenjo-Daro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki, Khairpur and Padidan during morning and night hours.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 13-15 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature will likely remain between 10-12 C on Tuesday and 11-13 C on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed across Sindh during the last 24 hours.
Fog persisted in upper districts. Less visibility disturbed normal vehicular movement from late night to early morning.
Mohenjo-Daro and Mithi remained the coldest places in Sindh where the mercury dropped to 06 C.
In Mohenjo-Daro, relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 100 per cent.
In Mithi, relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 68 per cent.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 14 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 58 per cent.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 12 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 77 per cent.
