KARACHI – Cricket legend and former Pakistan Captain Javed Miandad said that whoever came into power he brought their own individuals into Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB.

‘It does not happen anywhere in cricket what is happening here in our Pakistan,” said Javed Miandad while talking to the reporters in Karachi.

He said that there is need of a huge work for cricket.

Miandad’s views came after Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi was nominated as chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board. Naqvi’s nomination follows departure of Zaka Ashraf.

Miandad said that whoever becomes the Prime Minister should work for the progress of the country and cricket.

He regretted over the recent appointments, saying that whoever came into power brought his own individuals into the board.

Responding to a question, Javed Miandad said that he would get all things right if he is given a chance.

The former captain expressed that the Sindh Premier League (SPL) would be a means to promote talent in Sindh, and the players from Sindh would benefit from the SPL.
