Jand gets long-awaited Rescue 1122 emergency service

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zulfi Bukhari inaugurated Emergency Service Rescue 1122 in Jand on Tuesday to provide the most efficient response to emergencies in the area especially travelling on Hakla-DI Khan CPEC route. Deputy commissioner Attock Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema, Assistant commissioner Ijaz Abdul Kareem and other officials of the provincial and district government were also present on this occasion.

While addressing the inaugural ceremony, Zulfi Bukhari said, “The motive of Punjab government is to develop rural areas along with the development of urban areas. Provincial government on the directives of former Prime Minister Imran Khan is utilizing more resources on the betterment of rural areas as compared to the previous governments.”

He said the services of Rescue 1122 had been initiated on the demand of people. He said hundreds of people belonging to rural areas will now get benefits from the service.He said the service would be helpful to rescue and assist people in case of any mishap like road traffic accidents, collapse of buildings, hazardous incidents, fires and other emergencies incidents occurring in the vicinity of Jand especially commuters travelling on Attock-Kohat inter provincial route and Hakla-DI Khan CPEC route.
