Italy-based World Academy of Sciences elected ICCBS Professor as a Fellow

Prof. Dr. M. Raza Shah, a senior professor at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, has been elected as a fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), based in Trieste, Italy.A spokesperson for the ICCBS, University of Karachi, announced that Prof. Shah has been honored with this fellowship in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Nanomedicine and Supramolecular Chemistry.

The spokesperson stated, “The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) is a merit-based academy established in 1983, comprising 1,400 scientists from more than 100 countries. Several Nobel Laureates are fellows and actively participate in TWAS activities.”

It is noteworthy that Prof. Shah was recently appointed as a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the WHO International Traditional Medicine Clinical Trial Registry. Additionally, he received the Iranian Khwarizmi International Award from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran, earning the prestigious title of Khwarizmi International Laureate.
