Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s home targeted in latest drone attack

JERUSALEM – The residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was targeted in a drone attack in northern town of Caesarea on Saturday.

An official spokesperson confirmed the development stating that Netanyahu was present at the home when the attack was launched. He also said that no casualties occurred in the incident.

Israeli military claimed that the drones were launched from Lebanon, which has been facing massive airstrikes for several weeks.

The attack comes days after Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar’s death in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.

Following Sinwar’s death, Hezbollah had vowed to intensify attacks against Tel Aviv, adding that the situation is heading towards escalating phase of war.
