Secretary-General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer ul-Azeem, emphasized the importance of Islam’s supremacy in all aspects of life during his speech at a family gathering in Orangi Town, Karachi. He stated that for Islamabad to thrive, the leadership must be honest, accountable, and responsible, and the country must be governed by leaders who adhere to Islamic values.

He pointed out that the future of Pakistan and Islamic movements globally lies with Jamaat-e-Islami, noting that the party’s vision of a just and prosperous society was the key to Pakistan’s development. “Jamaat-e-Islami should not be measured by the number of votes but by the strength of its ideology. The leadership and vision of Jamaat-e-Islami are the hope for the entire Muslim Ummah,” said Ameer ul-Azeem.

He further stressed the importance of a truthful leadership that would restore the Islamic values upon which Pakistan was founded, warning against the current divisions that have led to the downfall of many nations. Dr. Osama Rizvi, the Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the ongoing genocide of the people of Gaza and Palestine.

He condemned the lack of action from Muslim rulers and announced a “Palestine Solidarity Million March” to be held in Islamabad on December 29 to show solidarity with the Palestinian people. During the event, Ameer ul-Azeem reminded the audience of the importance of unity and the necessity for a genuine Islamic governance system.

He urged the attendees to remain active in spreading the true message of Islam and to work for the implementation of Islamic laws in every aspect of life. The gathering also featured notable figures such as Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, Sheikh Usman Farooq, and other senior leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami. At the end of the event, several leaders were awarded shields in recognition of their services to the party.
