ISLAMABAD – Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to develop a Wildlife Safari Park in Islamabad.
This decision was taken in a meeting headed by Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa on June 20. The meeting was attended by the senior officers of the authority.
The Wildlife Safari Park will be developed on a jungle theme. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said along with other features the wild life safari park should tree houses, arrangements for close experience of animals and rehabilitation and rescue center for animals.
A technical committee has been constituted to review financial and technical aspects regarding development of Wildlife Safari Park.
The chairman CDA further said that the experiences of national and international safari parks should be utilized to develop a state-of-the-art wildlife safari park in Islamabad.
The meeting also decided to launch Pakistan Street. Outlets of cuisines from all over the world will be built in Pakistan Street.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that after detailed working on both the projects, the work on these projects will be started in the next financial year.
