LAHORE – Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab’s caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday performed the 980th annual ghusal ceremony of the shrine of famous saint Hazrat Ali Hajveri, famously known as Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA), with rosewater.
After recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, the last resting place of the Sufi saint was bathed with 2,000 kilograms of rosewater.
Finance Minister and the caretaker CM laid floral wreath on the grave of Hazrat Ali Hajveri.

Special prayers were offered for the stability, progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
Punjab’s caretaker minister for religious affairs, former minister Bilal Yasin, high civil and police officers and people from various walks of life participated in the ceremony.
