The value of trade between Iran and the U.S. stood at $50.5 million in the first 11 months of 2023, registering a 12 percent rise compared to the previous year’s same period, Tasnim news agency reported citing the latest statistics released by the American Statistical Association (ASA).
The trade between the two countries was reported to be over $40.4 billion in the same period of 2022.
According to the ASA data, the U.S. exported commodities worth $48.9 million to Iran in the first 11 months of the previous year, up 21 percent year on year. The U.S. had exported $40.3 million of non-oil goods to Iran in January-November 2022.—Tehran Times
