IPP to contest elections on ‘eagle’ symbol

The IPP has chosen ‘eagle’ as its election symbol for the upcoming general polls. In a statement issued on Thursday, IPP Central Information Secretary Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan confirmed that the party has finalised the election symbol.

She further that the IPP has officially requested the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to allocated ‘eagle’ as its election symbol.—INP
