The Hafiz Salman Butt Memorial Inter Club Youth Junior and Senior Men’s and Women’s Weightlifting Championship is scheduled to kick off on January 18, 2024.
The announcement was made during a meeting held at the Weightlifting Academy Choburji, presided over by Federation President Hafiz Imran Butt.
The four-day championship promises to be a historical event, bringing together talented weightlifters from various clubs. AqeelJaved Butt has been appointed as the Event Director to ensure the seamless execution of the championship. The organizing committee, under the leadership of Hafiz Imran Butt, includes Amjad Amin Butt, Madam NuzhatJabeen, JavedAsghar, Jabran Butt, Irfan Butt, Sheikh Anwar, and QaiserIftekhar, along with AqeelJaved Butt.
Various committees have been formed to manage different aspects of the championship. JameelAkhtar, Arslan, Maryam Aqeel Butt, HamadAsghar, Hasnain, and Jazeb will contribute to the Technical, Reception, Refreshment, Computer IT, and other proposed committees. SohailJaved Butt and Islam Natiq will take charge of the media committee, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the event.
All participating weightlifters are urged to prepare for this historic competition, set to unfold over four days, from January 18 to January 21, 2024. The championship promises to be a celebration of strength, skill, and sportsmanship, honoring the memory of Hafiz Salman Butt.
