inDrive Pakistan is proud to announce the launch of the Ride to Donate (RTD) project, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering youth through sports.
This socially driven project focuses on enhancing sports facilities in schools across Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, providing students with the opportunities they need to develop skills, build confidence, and foster teamwork.
The RTD project aims to support youth development by encouraging physical activity and personal growth among students through improved access to proper sports infrastructure.
By investing in school sports facilities, the initiative also seeks to strengthen local communities, fostering a sense of unity and laying the groundwork for a healthier, more active society.
The November campaign, championed by Olympic gold-medalist Arshad Nadeem, underscores the transformative role of sports in empowering Pakistan’s youth and shaping a brighter, more prosperous future.
Hassan Zaman, GTM, stated, “This project is not just about building playgrounds; it’s about creating opportunities for our youth to thrive.
We believe that investing in sports is investing in the future of our communities.” Sidra Kiran, Communication Manager, added, “We are excited to see the positive impact this initiative will have on students and their communities. Together, we can empower the next generation through the power of sports.”
The participating schools in this initiative include DIL PSP School Malir in Karachi, DIL Model High School Bagga Sheikhan in Islamabad and Marghzar Welfare Society in Lahore. These schools will benefit from upgraded or newly built sports facilities, enabling students to engage in physical activities and inter-school competitions. The geographic focus on Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore ensures that students in these urban centers have access to enhanced sports opportunities.
With a total investment exceeding 25 million PKR, the RTD project stands as one of the largest charitable contributions by a private company in this sector. The funds are dedicated to building playgrounds and sports facilities for underprivileged students in suburban areas, reflecting inDrive Pakistan’s commitment to social responsibility and community development.
