The Muslims are facing inhuman treatment and atrocities at the hands of Indian forces’ personnel in Kandi, Budhal, Kalakote, Dharamsal, Nowshera, Bhimbe, Manjakote, Darhal, Thana Mandi, Sunder-bani, Mendhar, Surankote and other areas of the region. The residents of these areas told the media that the forces’ personnel barge into their homes, thrash the inmates and vandalize the household goods. They said, the Muslim youth and even women are being interrogated in police stations and army camps and the practice has made the life of the Muslims in the region a hell.
