A petition for acquittal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan in May 9 cases was filed on Wednesday. District and Sessions Court Islamabad heard the case related to the incidents of May 9 registered in Khanna Police station against PTI founder.

Imran Khan’s lawyer Naeem Panjotha appeared in the judicial magistrate’s court and filed a plea for Imran Khan’s acquittal. Judicial Magistrate Sohaib Bilal inquired if the challan of the case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been collected and that how many cases are left against him.
