Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC), seeking shifting of a sessions court to the Judicial Complex for a day.
Making chief commissioner and inspector general of police (IGP), Islamabad respondents in his petition, Imran said that the IHC had directed him to appear in a sessions court day after tomorrow (Monday, June 12) in connection with the hearing of seven cases.“But the fact is that I cannot appear in F-8 kutchehry on account of security concerns,” he said, adding, “Previously, too, the court had been moved to the Judicial Complex in view of security concerns.”
PTI chairman further said that he had to file bail petitions in six May
9 violence-related cases. “I have also to file bail plea in Toshakhana reference,” he explained
