IGP demotes DSP to rank of Inspector

Inspector General of Police Punjab Capt. R Arif Nawaz Khan on Wednesday demoted a DSP the rank of DSP after the charges levelled against him were proved true.
DSP Sabir Ali appealed against his suspension but he was unable to give satisfactory answer in orderly room on which IG Punjab issued orders of his demotion as Inspector from DSP.
As DSP Investigation in Faisalabad and SDPO Sadar Rajanpur Muhamad Azeem was found guilty in two different inquiries so punishment of two steps decrease in his salary and censure was given to him.
SDPO Saddar Multan DSP Ishaq Ahmad Sial was censured after he was proved guilty in inquiry while DSP Saeed Ahmad, DSP Muhammad Waseem and DSP Khalid Mehmood Tabassum showcause notices were filed as charges against them were not proved.
In the meanwhile Inspector General of Police issued directions to RPO DG Khan for the earliest arrest of absconder criminals responsible for injuring three officials during an operation in DG Khan after taking notice of the incident.
He also issued directions for the provision of best medical services to the injured officials saying that brave and dutiful officials are the pride of the Police department.
