Governor Punjab Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman on Thursday said that human greatness does not lie in wealth or money but in good character.
This was stated by him while speaking on the occasion of Iftar dinner organized by Pakistan Youth Parliament in honour of children belonging to different Sweet Homes at Governor House Lahore. Members of Pakistan Youth Parliament and others were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the children, Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman said that you are on your way to a better and brighter future, you should study diligently and become a great person.
The Governor Punjab said that he welcomes the young guests at the Governor’s House. He said that you should get education and become a great person.
He asked the children to develop high moral values in themselves. He said that the world was a testing place. In every person’s life there are also some shortcomings. But we should thank Allah Almighty in every situation.
He said that dear children, the success of the country, humanity and all of us lies in your success.
Baligh ur Rehman said that he was deeply grateful to Sweet Homes, their organizers and staff for providing good care and education to these children.
Governor Punjab further said that it was the responsibility of all members of the society to contribute to the care of these children.
