In a concerted effort to combat drug trafficking and other criminal activities, Thatta Police, led by SSP Dr. Imran Khan, has undertaken a robust crackdown resulting in the significant seizure of narcotics and apprehension of numerous suspects.
With a series of meticulously planned operations, law enforcement authorities have dealt a severe blow to the narcotics trade, confiscating an astounding 70,000 packets of Indian Safina, 355 kilograms of hashish, and 30 kilograms of ZSP tobacco used in Gutka production, alongside 2,408 packets of Safina powder. The crackdown also led to the impounding of two Corolla cars (ASC-303 and BNN-410) and one Suzuki pickup (KX-0390) associated with illicit activities.
Cases under the Narcotics Act have been registered against the perpetrators, including individuals involved in drug trafficking such as Akram Palari, Shaukat Ali Shoro, Noor Ali alias Noral Malah, and others. The swift actions of Thatta Police units, including the CIA Thatta, resulted in the apprehension of 12 suspects involved in illegal drug trade, reinforcing the authorities’ commitment to curbing criminal activities.
Additionally, Dahabiji Police conducted snap-checking operations, leading to the confiscation of 125 motorcycles.
