A grand gathering was held in Idara Minhajul Quan in Paris to pay rich tribute to the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, on his 2nd martyrdom anniversary.
Jammu Kashmir Democratic Forum France (JKDFF), Minhajul Quan and other organizations arranged the meeting where JKDFF president Asif Jarral, Mihahaj president Raja Babar Hussain and many Pakistani and Kashmiri community leaders paid homage to the veteran leader for his unflinching resistance against Indian state terrorism in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The speakers said Syed Ali Gilani was a symbol of Kashmir struggle and will remain an inspiration till the movement reaches its conclusion. They appreciated his unwavering commitment to the Kashmir cause throughout his life.
“His legacy of boldness and fearlessness will be a source of courage for young Kashmiris in continuing their struggle for the freedom of their motherland. The best homage to Syed Ali Gilani is to continue his mission and fight for the right to self-determination according to the United Nations Security Council resolutions,” they said. Finally special prayers were held for Syed Ali Gilani and other Kashmiri martyrs.—KMS
